Liked: Nice pool, lots of parking spaces. Good location. Coffee available , nice staff.
Disliked: Room smelled very bad, toilet ran loudly all night. Pool hours could be more convenient.

Liked: We felt welcomed and were greeted by a very friendly receptionist. The place was very clean, the staff was very attentive.

Affordable, basic place to stay...

Liked: The woman working at the front desk was very kind and helpful. We were able to check in early. The location is perfect. Quick drive or uber to the beach/town of Asbury Park. Its a very basic accommodation and suited us for the one night. The pool looked nice but we didn't use it.
Disliked: Room was musty but that was kind of expected. The place is old and you get what you pay for. Its just a cheap option compared to the others in the area.

Disliked: The location is not exactly walkable for travelers dependent on public transportation. The room, and the whole facility had a pervasive smell. The room smell was very potent, almost like cat or lingering smoker's room, but was probably mildew, and made my stay very uncomfortable. The room itself at a glance just looked fine albeit dated but was pretty bad in the details: Stained bedding and towels, Air pockets and Uneven floor, Wall trimmings peeling, Very dirty bathroom vent, and like not fully clean minor details: Dust and Hair on ice bucket and cup tray, Water stains on the sink, Older microwave and fridge not even plugged in, Stains on bathroom door and framing, Remote without a back battery cover, etc.Outside the hallways had pretty aged carpeting and cieling issues, and there was a smell in the air because of these.Overall, an uncomfortable stay for all the cleanliness issues.
