EXCELLENT STAY

Liked: Historic hotel, sympathetically renovated. Incredibly clean & outstanding customer service. Stayed in the Babe Ruth room - iconic! Excellent breakfast included! Water & coffee readily available in the lobby. Free parking across the road.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike! Aircon was a little noisy, but managed to sleep through it!

Great stay at the Crystal...

Liked: The hotel was clean and definitely had a historic charm about it. The staff was wonderful, smiled and greeted us, the housekeeper was helpful when we just wanted to trade out towels and washcloths, the staff in the breakfast area were superb. Breakfast selections were definitely a "10". It was unusually hot & humid while we were there and was grateful the air conditioning worked GREAT! The mattress was perfect and slept well!
Disliked: The only issue we had was on Friday night when we returned to the hotel later than usual there was no parking spaces in the two parking areas or on the street in front of the hotel either. I was able to contact someone on the phone and they told us we could go to the stop sign and turn right and park on 1st Ave N. Was not happy about that resolution. My suggestion would be to have assigned parking space for each room.

Cool to stay in historic...

Liked: Historic nature. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: Babe Ruth suite we were in was cramp because the extra space was sparsely decorated. No comfortable couch to sit on and no A/C. It was hot in the room in July. So we paid extra but it wasn’t worth it. The king bed was uncomfortable and bathroom sink was tiny.

Superb

Liked: We really enjoyed the historical part of the hotel. Everything was beautiful inside and outside. The room was perfect for us. Loved the lay out! There's so many places to sit outside and enjoy the scenery and nature.
Disliked: We didn't have enough places to put out wet items after swimming or the beach, or no where to dry our clothes and towels.
