Disliked: Paid for a double room with an ocean side view - got stuck in a single with a side view due to the hotel being overbooked. Management was unable to correct the problem due to my third-party transaction.

Overall, OK for a one-night...

Liked: Room was perfect, comfortable, clean, spacious, modern.
Disliked: Lobby chaotic. Too few elevators, and they were slow. Lobby-adjacent restaurant had good food and service, but tables and floor area were unattractive, shabby, dirty and sticky.

Liked: My husband and I enjoyed the beach, being able to walk and enjoy the scenery around the city. The friendly engagements amongst the staff and recommendations of places to go for entertainment and food
Disliked: I understand some weekends are busier than others however on the 26th when we arrived the team seemed confused, a little overwhelmed and under staffed. I will say due to the circumstances the staff was still friendly and helpful.

Liked: The CP Ventura is in a PRIME location, is lovely, has good food, is close to restaurants and shopping and the BEACH and PIER are outstanding! The STAFF are awesome!

All in all, a good...

Liked: Location was good. Lots of places to eat. No real issues.
Disliked: Couldn’t get the Dodger game in our room. Had to go to the bar.
