Crowne Plaza Toronto Airport By IHG

My friends and I went to a wedding in Mississauga. I'm currently in Scarborough which is about a 30 to 45 minute drive east of this hotel. I called ahead and asked for our rooms to be beside each other or conjoined. I was on the 11th and they were on the 8th. It was all booked on one card. My room was a little small but looked renovated. Their room was a bit bigger but a little more on the shabbier side. Both faucets for the tub were falling off and we also had to pay for parking.

Disliked: Asked for conjoined rooms or rooms beside each other. We were on two different floors. Had to pay for parking. Faucets for the sinks were falling off.

Liked: Comfortable and clean rooms; friendly staff who were willing to do their upmost to make my visit enjoyable. From start (on-line reservation) to the stay was perfect!

Liked: Its location (close to the airport) and I like how quite the neighborhood is.
Disliked: Some of the frontline workers were not the best. Some had very good customer service but some were just not good enough.

Should’ve went elsewhere

Liked: Close to the airport, shuttle bus is a plus.
Disliked: I was charged $535 for my deposit which was suppose to be $100. This had a a significant impact on my holiday and the property did absolutely nothing to help the fact other than refund the money AFTER I check out. Booking.com also didn’t help, but they did state they were helpless in this case. Certain hotel staff were also very rude, as soon as I arrived I had to fight my case that I booked for breakfast included for all while they tried to tell me it’s was for 2/4 people with me, after that the whole debacle around the overcharge was also met with with little care, simply told it was a ‘glitch’ in their system - this is utterly unacceptable and I hope this said ‘glitch’ is patched as you’re leaving people in very difficult situation.
