Liked: Cleanliness; breakfast; friendly, helpful staff and real queen sized beds - not 2 singles pushed together.
Disliked: Breakfast until 10.30am would have been nice!

Uncomfortable mattress

Liked: Location was ok, room had view of car park not the water location pictured on room pics online. Had a gym, sauna was within the gym area, keycard needed for access. Parking was plentiful
Disliked: Mattress really uncomfortable I was unable to sleep as really firm, felt like was on solid ground with rocks in my back. Room service coffee arrived cold and spilt on tray. Aimed at business customers. Wedding there 1st night was busy and noisy with children running on landings causing lights to shake in the bar area. 2nd day was a conference on so busy. No atmosphere in the restaurant was silent and appeared un inviting. Ate in the bar first night from bar menu, food was nice but took 1 hr to come out to us, as chef was off ill.Only 1 apology during this time about 20 mins before food come out to say it would be out in 4mins Bathrooms look nice but tiles are laid unevenly and messy finish with cracks and missing grout and sealant. Toilet squashed between sink and bath so touching both as going to the toilet. Also very low down to ground almost child height (and I’m only 5ft 2) Overall uncomfortable stay for the cost we paid of £245 No better than a basic premier inn in my opinion in fact they are better and more comfortable
