Liked: Breakfast were great. Presentation was excellent. The pool was nice. The room that we ended up with was very nice. It’s what we should have had at the very beginning.
Disliked: When we checked in the individual who helped us was cordial and professional. The first room that we were sent to was dirty and not a king like we had booked. The second room was very dirty as you walked into it. It was a king but dirty. I had to take pictures of the room because the front desk was having trouble believing us. Not once in the three room change did anyone help us or make contact with us. The last phone call the front desk was very rude and unprofessional. The third room we were sent to was clean but not a king. We went ahead and took it. We stayed in that room the following night as well. The room they were looking to give us was at the end of the resort, a very long way from anything. The third night we were given a king room and it was fine. We think that given the situation it may have been a reasonable thing for the Crown Plaza to wave the resort fees for at least two of the three nights. Anything as a gesture of goodwill. They did nothing. So, here we are 3 days out still waiting for a receipt. The resort says it comes from the third party but Booking.com says it comes form the property. No one has sent any response in any form. One of the questions we asked the front desk was” do you know why people go to a resort?” They could not respond, they just stood quietly. This was not what we were looking forward to at all.
