Excellent breakfast and good location,...

Liked: The hotel is well located and the rooms are bigger than most in Parisian hotels. The bar downstairs is nice and the buffet breakfast is excellent.
Disliked: Our room was too warm because it faced the afternoon sun and the temperature control does not allow you top set it lower than 20 degrees. The staff brought us a fan, which helped. But it was still too warm.Also, only very few channels were actually available on the TV. None of them were in English (such as CNN or BBC).Finally, the hotel is verity expensive. Two nights cost us 1600 euros.

Poor

Liked: The hotel is across from a plaza that had protests both of the nights that we stayed at the property. The noise kept us up until around 4am. One of the nights the protest crowds came right up to the front door of the hotel. After the first night, we requested a room away from the plaza for the second night but were told that no rooms were available.
Disliked: The hotel should have provided an option for a room facing the courtyard away from the street when requested.

My happy place in Paris

Liked: Our favourite hotel in Paris. Great location just by République metro with all its interchanges. A lovely courtyard terrace on floor 1 with a bar, delightful in this warm weather, and friendly staff.
Disliked: I love the property!

Liked: Great location just by the République metro station which is a good interchange. Lovely terrace in the inner courtyard for drinks and relaxing. Comfortable room and friendly staff.
Disliked: Nothing negative to report!

not what i expected

Liked: Good location, nice inner courtyard, which was actually the main reason I booked this hotel
Disliked: Contactless cards are not accepted. I couldn’t pay for the hotel with my debit card, even though there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. The staff didn’t offer any solution until I figured out on my own that I could pay online via Booking.The rooms are old. I don’t understand why there’s no toilet brush — supposedly everyone is trying to save on cleaning and room service, but not having a toilet brush only leads to calling room service more often.Also, the staff initially refused to give me an invoice, which I needed for work. I really don’t understand why — it’s just a matter of printing out a piece of paper or sending it by email (they weren’t able to send it by email, only printed it — in 2025!)
