Mrs Ball, Mansfield, visiting Theatre Royal Nottingham

Delightful stay. Good décor and well fitted room. We had a pre-theatre meal in bar - excellent and good service; ditto the breakfast. Highly recommended. 5 minutes walk to Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall and tram stop .

Liked: Excellent hotel good facilitiries in room et al. Very helpful staff.
Disliked: Nothing negative at all.

Does exactly what you want...

Liked: There’s definitely an air of quality about the place and the Staff were super friendly
Disliked: Not a lot not to like really, you always find yourself questioning VFM at their price point but if you compare it head to head with similar establishments then it’s pretty good!

Good location. Room could have...

Liked: Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Room was adequate; air con was noisy and the windows didn't open. Not enough towels.

Convenient for Theatre and shops....

Liked: Convenient for Theatre Royal.
Disliked: Booked a disability accessible room. Support rails at toilet too close together, leaving a space of just about 21 inches making it virtually impossible to use safety. Also one rail had a toilet roll dispenser fit so close that it again impossible to use safety. The shower was over the bath. Not possible for me to use. Upon enquiring at reception I was informed the hotel only had two accessible room which were identical. Only two rooms out 200? Not really acceptable is it?
