We had a great stay. Starbucks located in lobby was a big plus as well. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Liked: Hot tub and pool open late. Starbucks in lobby.
Disliked: None.

My expectations were exceeded when we were allowed a late check out without additional cost as late as 1400. We requested this due to the dance competition at the South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center, that allowed us a bit more time in the comfort of our own room to get ready. The staff were also very accommodating in providing a wheelchair for my Mom, and allowing us to use it for the entire time we stayed with you. Lastly, the rooms were very quiet, and we could have adjoining rooms. Thank you again for a wonderful short stay. A+ rating.

Liked: Your experience here might be better. I hope so. Toilet seat was broken- the tilt-a--whirl should be reserved for the carnival. Body wash container empty. Alarm clock sounded early, not our doing. Hope the previous guests made their flight!

Disappointing For A Crowne Plaza

Liked: The king room was nice and clean. The Starbucks was nice, and the barista was wonderful. Two of the three front desk attendants were very helpful, while one of them did not bother to tell us that we could have used our breakfast coupons at the Starbucks or at the little hotel market, until the morning we were on our way to the airport.
Disliked: The worst part was having breakfast coupons we could not use for two of the three nights we stayed. Our first breakfast had a limited menu, and the second breakfast was not available at all. (We were told the chef did not come to work that day.) Unfortunately, this almost made us late for the funeral we had come to town to attend. On the third morning, we were leaving before the restaurant was open, so I'm unsure if it opened later or not. We were informed by another guest that the hotel is under new ownership, which was causing all sorts of issues, particularly regarding their supply chain for the restaurant. It's an older hotel in need of some upgrades, and the neighborhood is more than a bit dodgy. (There was apparently a recent robbery and possibly murder at the nearby gas station, which is not the hotel's fault, but I mention it to give you an idea of the unsavory flavor of the hotel location.) The former hotel that sits next to this one is abandoned, boarded up, and pretty creepy, especially when you're parking in the evening or leaving in the early hours. The carpet in the elevators was terribly filthy. I generally expect SO much more from a Crowne Plaza Hotel. It was quite disappointing.
