Fantastic city break!

Liked: Loved the big window and air con was a massive bonus. Staff were exceptionally friendly and the breakfast was amazing. The pool area was spotless and the facilities really good. Showers fantastic too!
Disliked: We found a used ear plug in the bed which was off putting, there was no hairdryer in the room luckily we had one with us.

Liked: The pool was pleasant. The reception staff were helpful and responsive.
Disliked: Mask wearing policy is meaningless: staff and guests wandering around maskless. Online covid policy reassurances meaningless. Restaurant staff in particular were wearing masks under their chins and noses. Also pool staff. Fridge in room didn't work. Restaurant area stiflingly hot (the weather was warm, but not that warm). We booked a room with a king and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was horribly uncomfortable. Pillows were lumpy. We are a family of three, but in spite of this being clear on the booking, there were 2 towels, 2 cups, 2 biscuits etc. Having complained about the mask situation to restaurant supervisor he was rude and defensive. Having subsequently complained to reception I was offered a call from the manager today (14 June 2021), which never came.

Great place and location

Liked: I loved the location of the place centralBut and easy drive. The swimming pool and gym facilities are available to use. Would definitely comeagain.

Liked: Lovely breakfast. Really enjoyed early morning swim & staff were very helpful.

Exceptional

Liked: Staff were so welcoming and lovely couldn?t ask for better, the pool was a great extra activity to do we went twice and it was perfect. The room was very clean and comfortable and had good facilities, hairdryer, safe etc. Breakfast was a lot better than expected, really enjoyed. The hotel overall was perfect, the staff were very helpful and nice and couldn?t really fault anything at all :)

Liked: The location was perfect! They also left us complimentary Prosecco and rose petals in the room which made our stay extra special
