Bargain stay!

Liked: Lovely staff, on site parking, big comfy beds that felt like I was falling asleep on a cloud. Pool a real bonus and although it's more competitive temperature than leisure, it was beautiful to float here and let it soothe my aching bones whilst the sun streamed in through the huge windows. Breakfast was the usual Crowne Plaza standard of utterly wonderful with almost everything you could wish for to start the day. Their scrambled eggs are fantastic!
Disliked: Two of our 3 rooms experienced internet issues which resulted in no TV and sketchy hotel wifi. I did go down to see reception but they simply apologised and agreed it was probably the internet. Too exhausted after a huge journey, I went back to the room and used my own data to watch YouTube on my phone.. I mentioned it again in the morning but no resolution offered. Not ideal but I didn't want to cause a fuss as the rooms were such a great price. It wouldn't put me off staying here again as everything else was top notch!

Friendly city centre hotel with...

Liked: The breakfast was superb! The cooked breakfast choice was one of the best. Good quality ingredients well cooked and the coffee was perfect.
Disliked: The beds were a little hard which was surprising.

Great welcome and good leisure...

Liked: Great welcome from Patrice who was exceptionally friendly and cheerful.The pool and leisure facilities are very good.Great choice at the buffet breakfast with good service from the staff.Location offers option to walk into the centre along the River Aire. Bus stops outside the hotel too.
Disliked: Frosted window in bedroom and the provision of only a sofa bed for additional guest.

Liked: Large room, comfy bed, very nice staff, health spa facilities, convenient location.

Good distance from shops. Easy...

Liked: The location is spot on and city centre easy parking. We had a main meal and breakfast and they were nice. The beds were comfy and the staff were friendly.
Disliked: The ‘spa’ and pool area are very tired.The pool was freezing. We had no robes or slippers in our room, so the easiness of visiting the pool was marred. We asked but were told there wasn’t any, then other guests attended with hotel Terry towering robes on, It was just like visiting a council run pool and we needed to get dressed and undressed from our room. The spa towels have seen better days. The showers are grim, cracked tiles and again I must mention it was very cold. The purpose of the stay was leisure but unfortunately the pool lets the hotel down.
