Exceptional
Liked: Warm welcome at reception by Ben and Yassir,quick check in. And told about facilities.
Disliked: A few little issue in bathroom could have been cleaner but would not put me off visiting again.

A nice stay overall
Liked: The breakfast buffet and the spa area.The staff were very polite and professional.
Disliked: Beds were on the small side.The room got really warm during the night and we had to turn on the ac.The green light on the air condition panel made it quite hard to sleep if you’re a light sleeper like me.

Liked: Great breakfast, nice room and good facilities
Disliked: Long wait to check in even though I had already checked in online, then had to wait because our room wasn't ready - at 4pm! We did get complimentary drinks because of the wait, but then they didn't have the drink I wanted and the bar lady couldn't change the barrel because she was on her own. No robes in our room, so had to go through reception in our swim gear to get to the pool. Bed very uncomfortable so didn't get a very good nights sleep.

Overall good but expensive
Liked: All staff friendly, helpful and always had a smile.
Disliked: As a vegetarian the breakfast was disappointing, potatoes overcooked, dry and inedible, the pastries were small and dry. Glad I didn't pay extra for it.

Very bad.
Liked: I booked 3rd party through booking.com and requested decorations in the room for my boyfriends 25th birthday, I requested this a week + in advance, I rang the hotel the day before to check if this had been done as I had no communication, the staff were very rude and were not helpful at all, I got passed around from person to person for the Leeds front desk to be “avoiding calls” which one of your colleagues actually said to me and said that it was disgusting and that “someone was not doing their job”. I had a manager speak to me and say they would get in touch with Leeds to sort the request and he promised communication back to tell me this had been done, shock, no communication so I had to call again to chase it up and had a very very rude worker tell me she couldn’t do anything or find the person I spoke to. I ended up having to pay for the decorations even after all these issues and also had customer service issues when I arrived, very very poor service and no apology or compensation. There seemed to be no one who had any authority to make sure my issue was resolved or to look into the advisors I had previously spoke with and had such a poor experience with, there was no repercussions for these members of staff which makes me as a customer feel very uncomfortable that these are the types of people taking care of bookings that in my case can be for a very special occasion.
