Very disappointed with housekeeping services. Called front desk several times to have room made up - they never showed. Finally just got towels. Also on checkout we noticed our tire and rim was damaged on the front passenger side. The manager in duty took a picture. There was yellow paint where valet hit the curb. My husband called the following day to discuss with the hotel. They asked if we made a police report. Also they said they reviewed the cameras and they didn't do it. This is a total lie. We did not go anywhere and parked next to the curb.

Everyone was helpful with attention to making sure our stay was good. Would definitely stay there again, mainly because of the friendly staff.

The Crowne was ideally located. The room was comfortable and clean. Small bathroom, but workable. Walking distance to everything. Friendly staff and valet parking!

The Crowne Plaza was clean, comfortable and conveniently located. The staff was polite, considerate and accommodating. The food and wait staff at the hotel's restaurant was excellent! I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel during my next visit to Harrisburg.

People who love their jobs...

Liked: The staff. I was checked in by Annasimon who was amazing! She checked me in, made suggestions for dinner, and called my room about 10 minutes after I went up to make sure everything was ok. When I returned from dinner she greeted me by name and chatted with me about my day. As a solo traveler it was nice to know someone was looking out for me. She went above and beyond. The gentleman at the valet service was really kind and efficient as well. Personable. I stay in a lot of hotels but rarely have staff members who show an interest in people beyond get them in and get them out. Everyone I encountered genuinely seemed to like working with the public. That’s rather rare today. The hotel is in a great location but the people are what made it extra special.
Disliked: It is showing a little wear and tear but other than that - it was perfect for work trips.

Disliked: In the afternoon at check-in, the valet people were disrespectful, but other than that, the employees in the hotel and in the morning were great.

Liked: The bed did not have fresh linen. The bed was made with the linen from the previous guest. I was mortified.
Disliked: The lack of integrity with the housekeeper that was responsible for my room. The hotel needs renovation it is outdated and dark.

Liked: The staff was exceptional and the food was delicious. I will stay there again on my next visit and will let others know.
