Concord Plaza Hotel

There was no mention of the airport, but the private jets and the early AM helicopter were deafening!

Liked: Comfortable.
Disliked: Airport noise right across the parking lot!

The hotel was very nice. The room was clean and fresh. Every time we exited our room, the housekeeping staff greeted us and made a pleasant comment. Very nice and friendly people. There was food left out in the hallway, however, for two days before it was taken away after someone ordered room service. It was not nice to have to walk past it. It should have been removed that day.

Liked: We had a restaurant manager working Sunday morning during breakfast named Victor. He was so attentive and gave us such a friendly experience, that I even left a written comment form for him at the front desk. Our waitress, on the other hand, forgot to bring items we ordered and was nowhere to be found for a coffee refill, etc. She seemed put out to be serving us.
Disliked: The front desk lady who checked me in was nice enough to let me know that the next evening a party was being held in the Atrium lobby and there would be music and dancing until 10:30. She said if it were a problem, they could always move me, but I said I would prefer to just have another location now to avoid moving. She seemed put out even though I thanked her for telling me.

Absolutely not worth the money,...

Liked: Hotel was centrally located. Was fairly quiet
Disliked: Room was hot, smelly (it was supposed to be nonsmoking but smelled of cigarettes), cheaply repaired/renovated (there was old exposed plumbing/holes in the wall, for example), didn’t have hot water (only lukewarm after letting the water run for an extended period of time), old dingy towels, AC unit was extremely loud while running

I got scammed by booking.com...

Liked: Location was good breakfast was good the room was good.
Disliked: When we arrived I found out that I booked the wrong day. I booked the 17th into the 18th . I meant to book the 16th into the 17th. The hotel told me to call booing. Com and have it changed to the 16th . So I called booking.com talked to someone they called the hotel the hotel said yes there is available rooms it can be changed. I got an email with the changed booking . He told me give it about five minutes and it should be changed on the hotels end . So we waited and waited and the booking never changed at the hotel. It was almost midnight when I told the hotel to just rent me a room. My dad was in the hospital and we were almost three hours from home. So I ended up paying twice for the room we stayed in. Every time I called booking.com back . All I got ahold of was an AI . The AI wanted the reservation number. Every time I gave the reservation number AI would tell me there was the wrong amount of digits for the reservation. And then told me it was ending the call because I couldn’t confirm my reservation. The next morning when we checked out I asked the hotel if I could get a refund because I ended up paying twice. They said yes they could give me a refund but I had to talk to booking.com and have booking.com call the hotel to get the refund. But when I called booking.com I don’t get to talk to a real person I have to talk to a AI who tells me my reservation number is wrong and hangs up on me. So I am very disappointed in the fact I had to pay twice for one night told I could get a refund and then prevented from getting that refund because booking.com does not allow me to talk to a real human.
