We were unaware that the parking for this hotel was valet only. Nowhere was it stated in the reservation and nowhere do they tell you you will be charged $50 for valet. Nor did the front desk say anything. We found out the next day when we got our bill! This is a poor, unethical business practice and should be reported to the BBB!

When we checked in we weren't informed that you had to use your room key in the elevator for it to move up. He didn't offer us maps, information about dining inside, the cost of valet. We got our room service bill at 3am in the morning. They didn't slide the paper under the door, they opened the door to put in the door. Who sends out bills inside your room in the middle of the night? The positive side of the hotel was the comfy room with balcony and great shower. That's it.
Liked: The room and food.
Disliked: Front desk gave us no information about anything.

Check in was quick and efficient. Our room was immaculate and well stocked. Dined in the restaurant before attending the Rolling Stones concert at the United Center where the service was more than satisfactory. Was a great couple of days. Always a fun time in the Windy City!

We found a cockroach the first night there. Took it to the manager who thanked us with a free drink at the bar, after hearing him comp a room for a guest that screwed up their own booking. I asked why all I got was a free drink when I found a cockroach in the room and was not offered a different room. The manager proceeded to lie to my face that I gave him the cockroach the night before and refused to offer any other compensation. We asked to speak to his supervisor and we were flat out told no. He said he would call and talk to him but we could not be around to hear the conversation or speak to his supervisor ourselves. All together I was very disappointed with the way we were treated and will never be staying at this hotel again. No 3 night stay is worth 700 dollars in a room with cockroaches and management that has no respect for the guests. There was one woman named Rene that was very helpful and nice to us - unfortunately she just didn't have the authority to really help us. I recommend you not stay at this hotel.
Liked: Most of the staff was very helpful.
Disliked: Found cockroaches; rude manager - manager lied to our faces.

Liked: Spacious bedroom.
Disliked: I booked a non-smoking room and was put in a smoking room. When I asked to move, I was told that no non-smoking rooms were available.
