Met our expectations.

Liked: Good breakfast, central location, comfortable accommodation.
Disliked: Understaffed at times during evening meal in the restaurant.The current staff had to run to be able to service customers.The hotel, as with most accommodation, use a single doona on the bed. These are far too hot and the only way we could produce a comfortable temperature was to turn the air conditioning off at night to reduce room temperature to 15C.

Tidy rooms but bad experience

Liked: Clean & tidy rooms, excellent staff at breakfast
Disliked: Were told wrong measurements for the cot. Were not compensated for having to share a bed with our child (dangerous) Had no hot water in our room the first night. We were given a 30% off one night discount after 3 complaints and hours of waiting. In my opinion it was not enough, as not being able to take a hot shower in 1 degree weather, sharing a bed with our child who also wasnt able to take a bath, after a 5 hour drive was truly unfair and unacceptable.

Friendly, convenient, close to everything...

Liked: From the moment we arrived the staff were excellent. The check-in was efficient with very friendly and welcoming staff.The room was clean and was convieniantly located on the fist level overlooking the park. We went down for dinner without a booking and the short staff were happy to find us a table in the very busy restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff apologised for the wait. Breakfast choices were excellent with plenty of fresh fruit, pastries,omelete / egg station and fresh Barista coffees availableThe staff were extremely busy due to the long weekend and handled the rush with ease.The Hotel is very well situated, close to a shopping centre and plenty of restaurants within a 5 min. walking distance.We will definetly stay again next time we are in Canberra.We joined their loyalty program and we were given a complimentry late check-out.
