Crowne Plaza Cabana Hotel By IHG

My friends and I stayed at this hotel and had a great experience! We enjoyed the pool area prior to the concert and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The rooms were very clean and updated. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if ever in the area for another concert.

ok so its super nice but thats about it...the looks are all it has...i show up to have a nice weekend and i hottub has caution tape around it! GROSS! then the staff is extremely rude unless ur a snobby rich folk..discrimination! then police block the hotel off and the staff tell me to go back to my room i wasnt allowed to leave like really? we cant leave our hotel what is this? then the staff says they are going to call the cops on the person i was staying with because he forgot his room key.....and did they help him no!!! he had to sit outside the room for hours...then to top it off they charge 150 smoking fee when we did not smoke in the room we smoked on the patio outside our room which apparently ur not allowed to smoke on?

Liked: This was our second stay within the last month. My brother is having medical procedures at Standford Hospital and we found the rooms to be very comfortable during our first visit.
Disliked: During our second visit I was awakened in the middle of the night by a tapping noise. I thought there was someone at the door but it turned out to be a stream of water coming from the light fixture in the ceiling of the bathroom. I went to call the front desk only to find the phone had no dial tone. When I did reach the front desk and told them of the situation.I was told there were no maintenance personnel available. He asked if I wanted another room. By the time I packed my belongings and was given another room it was well into the early morning hours. I was given a credit for the parking fee.

Liked: The hotel is normally great
Disliked: On the third night, I had extremely loud neighbors. I phoned the front desk about 9 times between 10:30 - 1 AM.Every time, the front desk said they would do something about it, but they never did until finally at 1 AM they moved the people to a different room. I couldn't sleep and had an early morning the next day. The people next to me were obnoxiously loud (yelling and talking super loud) and ignored all the phone calls and door visits from the front desk and kept being loud. I asked for a refund for that night. But they could not do anything. I emailed the manager but she didn't get back to me yet. I've stayed at this hotel before and its normally fine. This was just a terrible stay.On the 4th night, I had loud neighbors again who woke up at 4:30 AM in the morning and started making loud phone calls. I phoned the front again and they phoned to ask them to be quiet and the new neighbors indeed turned their voices down. I returned home to Canada today and am exhausted. It was a terrible stay.

Very good

Liked: The room, facilities were all fine. Came for our daughters graduation.
Disliked: The breakfast did not get stocked up, so during breakfast time things were missing.

Disliked: No kettle or microwave in room. Internet was intermittent. The business centre needs an upgrade. computers are old.

Great stay at the Crowne...

Liked: Fresh, clean, staff was very nice.
Disliked: No water provided in the rooms (at least one bottle should be given)

Disliked: No laundry

Liked: Good location with kind staff. Keep in mind they charge $20 per day for parking
