Crowne Plaza Cabana Hotel By IHG

My friends and I stayed at this hotel and had a great experience! We enjoyed the pool area prior to the concert and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The rooms were very clean and updated. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if ever in the area for another concert.

ok so its super nice but thats about it...the looks are all it has...i show up to have a nice weekend and i hottub has caution tape around it! GROSS! then the staff is extremely rude unless ur a snobby rich folk..discrimination! then police block the hotel off and the staff tell me to go back to my room i wasnt allowed to leave like really? we cant leave our hotel what is this? then the staff says they are going to call the cops on the person i was staying with because he forgot his room key.....and did they help him no!!! he had to sit outside the room for hours...then to top it off they charge 150 smoking fee when we did not smoke in the room we smoked on the patio outside our room which apparently ur not allowed to smoke on?

Liked: Staff was nice. The bed was great. Large room. Near pool. Free coffee in lobby.
Disliked: Our 2nd floor room in back overlooking pool, a long walk from the front. Can park by room, but no elevator. No free breakfast which was not an issue for us.

Liked: The room was not that appealing and on the last day the carpet near the rest room was all flooded.

Disliked: Air conditioning in the room wasn’t working well so it was hot and hard to sleep. The bed was comfortable

Disliked: Misleading info for their free shuttle bus. It shows there is a free shuttle bus within 5 miles. Actually it is not.

Disliked: Initially I rated it as a terrible experience... Before reaching the location I gave the invoice details to make sure that when I will be leaving the invoice would be named to my company. At my arrival they were not able to charge my cards (tried with 3 different cards... never had any problem beside this hotel). They said they "solved it" after around 30 min... but then at checkout they did not provide me an invoice and said I should request it to booking... When I look at my credit card I see the outgoing payment to Crown Plaza.... not to booking! Contacted booking they say Crown Plaza should give me the invoice and Crown Plaza says booking should give me the invoice... So I am stuck and nobody is providing me the invoice. Additionally I was charged 50 USD as security deposit that I still did not receive back. Never had such a negative experience.Updated on 25 Apr. 2025 - I reviewed my rating and increased the total score as after many iterations I finally received the required invoice and the deposit back
