For $551.96 for 2 nights...

Liked: Location fine
Disliked: We have been staying in this hotel for over 30 years and the facilities have not been upgraded. The bathrooms are not fit for purpose. The shower in the bath is unsafe for older people and should be replaced with showers.The bathroom mirror is unheated and poorly lit

Our stay at the Crowne Plaza was an OK experience.

Liked: The hotel staff are very, very helpful and polite. The size of the room is very good.
Disliked: There is a lot of road work improvement near the front entrance to the hotel which is across Sky City. This is an inconvenience but it can't be helped. The shower is good but there are NO handrails to hold to get into the tub to shower. Very unsafe. Also the no slip strips in the tub were worn and the grip was hardly there. The walking distance from the Hotel to the Viaduct Area is in reality about 25 minutes. Walking from the hotel is downhill to the CBD and slightly uphill depending on your route.

Great stay. Fantastic location which was a priority. Available discounted parking. Recommend.

Liked: Breakfast was great. Good selection. Staff were lovely and helpful..
Disliked: We were in room 1812...The room de`cor was bland and dull..very unappealing, not inspiring....carpet dark and dull...no cheerful colors....dark brown is a terrible choice....wine stain on the ceiling, likely red wine...the room itself was clean and the bed very comfortable. The room space was great, but the de`cor....boring....very surprised. Stayed at the Crowne before covid and it was a welcoming pleasure. Please do something to make it cheerful.
