Crowne Plaza Atlanta - Midtown an IHG Hotel

Friendly staff. Gorgeous room. Awesome view of the city and loved having a little balcony. Will definitely stay again!

Please. Avoid this hotel at all costs. All 5 people in front of us in line also had their rooms given away. They did nothing to resolve the situation. They just said sorry, good night.

Liked: The staff was nice.
Disliked: Our room was given away and we were unable to stay at the hotel with no explanation.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Atlanta Midtown after attending a play at the Fox Theater. The hotel was a short walk to the theater and provided a very comfortable stay.

Liked: Clean, comfortable rooms.
Disliked: Everything was great.

Liked: Clean room; friendly staff; great food; always a taxi available outside; reasonable price; would absolutely stay here again.

It was a beautiful hotel; the room was very comfortable and the view fantastic. I will most definitely stay here again!

After an 8 1/2 hour drive, my husband and I arrived, dirty, tired and disheveled. We were greeted like royalty! We retrieved our electronic keys and headed upstairs. The keys did not work. We went back downstairs, and were promptly given another set of electronic keys. Those too did not work, and we were instructed that if they didn't, that we should call the front desk from the elevator phone. We were told that the maintenance man would immediately be up to fix the door. Almost twenty minutes later we were still standing in the hallway and elected to then go back down. My husband was expressing his unhappiness when Trevor looked up from what he was doing and said "no, no, this is unacceptable". Please, follow me and I will personally get you into your room, and when you've relaxed, and are ready to come back down, I will have two working keys". As we thanked Trevor, he asked "how long will you be staying at the Crowne" to what we said "three days". Trevor said "breakfast is on me the entire time you are here"! Let me tell you, this was no basic breakfast. It was amazing, and included your style of eggs made in front of you by a CHEF! The rest of our stay at the Crowne was amazing. Trevor took a defining moment and turned it from unhappiness and annoyance, to concern, caring, and the most amazing customer service! Needless to say we spent our entire free time at the hotel, enjoying the outstanding dinners, amazing views of downtown Atlanta, and the most attentive staff we have ever encountered and that includes our weekends at Disney's wildly expensive resorts. We would like to thank the entire staff of the Crowne Plaza, especially you Trevor Hollis. You are in a word "OUTSTANDING" and we vow to stay at the Crowne EVERY time we are in Atlanta!

Disliked: There was no complimentary parking available. It cost guests $15.00 per night to self park, or $30.00 per night to Valet Park.

Nice room. Smaller than expected. Furnishings had a different appeal, cool. View from balcony was nice.
