Pleasant

Liked: Location was good. Local people and businesses were lovely. It was cheap room to be fair.
Disliked: Not serving food at all on the day we we there but not allowing purchase/ consumption of takeaway outside. It's such a small thing but took all of the goodwill we felt initially.

Location was excellent. Food was...

Liked: Location was excellent its right in the middle of the town there was access to pubs, shops & restaurants and the staff were friendly.
Disliked: We ate in the hotel on the first night and its the worst food I ever got. My wife got Lasagne and it was burnt to the bowel she couldn't eat it now they didn't charge us for the starters because of it but it was disappointing. We were afraid to eat anything els while we stayed there. Our room was miles and miles from the reception but the room itself was ok for the type of hotel it was. When we went to check out we waited for ages and nobody showed up so we just left our keys as we had already paid for our stay. The hotel is very dated it could do with a face lift in a big way.

Good overall one night’s stay

Liked: Great location, fine for a one night stopover whilst visiting different areas of the Cotswolds. Staff were very friendly! Also really like the outdoor seated areas, great for enjoying warmer weather.
Disliked: Bed wasn’t the most comfortable, very springy and old, walls could do with a lick of paint to freshen up and not that this is a deal breaker at all - but better attention to decor detail could really improve the rooms (I.e. on the walls were 6 pictures hanging, 4 of them were the same picture lol). Rooms just feel functional but a bit of care would make it so much better.

Disliked: The only thing we felt was missing was a fridge in the room . Would of been useful for us but would not stop us staying again
