Very pleasant pub with rooms...

Liked: The second time of staying here we decided to stay again because the rooms are very clean and well equipped and the staff are excellent and friendly and the food in restaurant is very tasty and well presented including the breakfast !
Disliked: I wish we couldn’t find a fault but this time we had a room with a very small bathroom and it didn’t have the lovely walk in shower and spacious bathroom that our previous stay had if we had known that all the rooms didn’t have the spacious bathroom with walk in shower we would of made sure to ask for that! And a footnote parking was very limited due to numerous walkers who were using the carpark to meet up and park their vehicles to go rambling! We think the crown & garter should ask for your number plate upon check in to make sure it is only the hotel guests, staff and people using crown & garter facilities parking there because it must create an issue sometimes !

Liked: Service at dinner was a little quick for my liking - main courses arrived before we had finished our nibbles of bread and olives. Breakfast was good as was the overall accommodation. Yes we would stay there again
