Liked: The staff was great and the food was excellent. I would have liked a handel to help get in and out of the bath, but that is just a personal choice.
Disliked: A walk-in shower would be easier than the bath, but that is personal choice.

The hamlet was delightful and...

Liked: It was very clean and modern and warm .the staff were attentive and even left us a packed bacon roll and orange juice as we were too early leaving before breakfast .
Disliked: Unfortunately we must have had room on top of the kitchen so there was white noise from an extraction system or something causing a throbbing noise which was distracting for sleep but I am very sound sensitive . The menu was interesting but we really just wanted a bar meal so ate at another pub in the next village sadly where a meal cost under £15 . This wasn’t possible at the crown and anchor. The environment was lovely however the crown and anchor .

Liked: Great stay, very nice pub/restaurant downstairs, loved that they automatically reserved a table for us. Cosy, stylish room. Food was exceptional, both for dinner and breakfast.
