Liked: Staff, food, drink and ambience of common areas, meals and bar areas generally all good.
Disliked: The bed pillows were not comfortable. The shower pressure was not good. We did report it, they said it had been fixed but was still the same. Offered to change us to a different room which we declined, as we were on the ground floor, and had 2 very heavy suitcases. Wardrobe base had not been vacuumed or cleaned.

Liked: It was clean and well planned, luxurious. The view from the terrace was spectacular.

Excellent hotel in a beautiful,...

Liked: Super quiet location, lovely hideaway from it all with amazing views; our room was very plush with lots of space for us 3 and the dog, with a fan going to cool the room when we arrived, oir room had lovely countryside views and was above the bar terrace but we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet the hotel was; the whole hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff were super friendly, the evening meal was very good, portions were huge even the kids meals, breakfast was excellent, we will definitely be back

Liked: Location stunning , breakfast lovely , dog welcome but not offered a bowl or bed nothing offered but charged . Liked the large bathroom . Views and pub all nicely done
Disliked: The room was a executive room , but sadly the window handle came off in our hand , the carpet for the price is dirty in places needs a good wash , for 150 per night plus dog 25 expensive then , Hand soap broken in room , no bags in toilet bins No bath mats , but we booked late so it maybe they didn’t get chance , it’s a lovely place but if higher money then all these details need too be sorted and all rooms fully checked , as things happen but for higher money all needs checking please . As stunning location , we have stayed many times but this time cleaning did lack , Please wash and check carpets Staff all very nice Food and breakfast fab Also if charging for dogs please offer at least a dog bowl so they have something in the room and or bed maybe nice too offer but a bowl for dog drink would be nice . Other hotel next night did charge us but the dog did get welcome pack ball and treats nice touch by that hotel as charging for dog per night

Liked: The venue is lovely and all the staff were amazing, really top and friendly service. Breakfast was delicious and the dinner menu is varied and really good.
Disliked: No complaints at all. I would just add that the steps are a little narrow and needs careful navigation with a suitcase. That said, we were offered help, so again, no complaints.
