Good value for money

Liked: Lovely pub atmosphere with friendly helpful stuff a and good food.The bed was comfy and the size of the room and bathroom was big enough.
Disliked: The shower needed a bit refitting work

Liked: Breakfast room was good, full English cooked well and staff friendly
Disliked: The room was tatty and it felt dingy. There were holes cut in the ceiling of room 3 and they had been patched back in with plasterboard tape. Paint was flaking off the walls, entrance doors. No nets and so you had to have the curtains drawn to get changed as carpark spaces look right in room. Bathroom more modern, but toilet too close to wall to sit on properly, spare toilet paper was soiled or markedIt was clean enough I would say, so you could stay here but its not very relaxing and I wish i had driven two hours home instead of stay over

Liked: Loved the bar area and outside , beds were fairly comfortable. Pete the waiter was fab and made the night a good laugh with great service !!
Disliked: Receptionist came across a little blunt and rude ! Bathroom wasn’t great but shower was reasonable .

Adequate for our purposes but...

Liked: The breakfast was good. The bed linen snd bathroom were very clean. The bedroom was spacious.
Disliked: The hotel was very tatty and dingy. It was badly in need of a refurbishment. Although our bedroom was spacious, none of the windows opened. Staff were courteous but there seemed to be issues with staffing which were occupying the attention of the staff.
