Almost perfect

Liked: Beautiful! Lots for families/kids to do. Rooms were very nice and clean. People/staff were very friendly.This was our 3rd stay and will come again in spring. However need to check elsewhere for summer.
Disliked: Would be nice to have a restaurant/bar on premises or closer . Then it would be perfect.Also, wish prices could stay same or close to it for summer. We’d stay there more often for sporting events for our grandkids.150-$200 more is a big jump plus tax etc. I do know however, that most places doRaise their prices for summer rates. It’s just deceiving when you read one price online and then have it so much more when you get there.

Incredible!!

Liked: The view off the balcony is the best view compared to any other hotel in the state. You can see all sorts of wildlife and meet a bunch of new people by the campfire at night.
Disliked: My tv remote didnt work for my tv, but i wasnt planning on using it anyway thankfully so it didnt bother me much. I was either reading or enjoying the views!

Very nice lodge with a...

Liked: I liked the view of the river from the room. Also has it been earlier in the night would have loved sitting by the fire pit. Breakfast was good too.
Disliked: The pool area looked great but walked inside it smelled of strong chlorine which if the chemicals are balanced properly that should not be the case. We did not like that.

Liked: Everything but the new breakfast.
Disliked: We loved their hot breakfast in the past. It is all carbs and sugar now. Miss the hot food. I hope they bring it back soon.

Peaceful, relaxing, friendly atmosphere at...

Liked: The room they had reserved for us had the spa jet tub out of service so they moved us to a different room. The room was great, tub was relaxing, but the shower water was chilly—we let them know. Loved the outdoor gas fire pit and the country feel of the place. Would love to come back in the summer and kayak the river. Very peaceful place, staff very friendly. Breakfast was great!!

very beautiful and comforting location....

Liked: this location is absolutely stunning and so comforting. went on a quick trip with my partner, and the room exceeded our expectations. very comfortable, and the spa bath that came with our room was just wonderful. the indoor pool and hot tub were also amazing. only a 15 min drive to petoskey, where there are plenty of restaurants and shops. just overall we had an incredible time !!!!!
Disliked: we did not have any problems or complaints !
