The Spotlight on Cricklewood Lodge Hotel

Affordable Comfort in North London

Modern, no-frills hotel in Cricklewood, North London—just a quick trip from major music venues and central hotspots. With 32 cozy rooms, free WiFi, and easy access to the London Underground via Kilburn Station (a 10-minute walk), the Cricklewood Lodge Hotel is a smart pick for travelers on a budget.
Each room includes a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities, making it a great base to recharge after a big night out.

Why Concert-goers love it

The hotel’s location puts you less than 20 minutes by Tube from iconic venues around Wembley and central London. Its low-key setting means peace and quiet post-gig, and with check-in from 14:00 and check-out at 11:00, there’s just enough flexibility for weekenders and night owls. The nearby transport links and the fact that it’s not right in the thick of tourist crowds make it a solid choice for music fans looking to unwind after the show.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for an affordable base
  • Solo travelers chasing must-see gigs
  • Couples planning a weekend in the city
  • Fans who want a quieter recovery spot after a loud night
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who don’t want to sacrifice location

Food and Drink Options

While there’s no on-site restaurant, you’re just 400 yards from The Beaten Docket, a local pub offering a wide selection of food and drink—perfect for a bite before or after the show. Cricklewood has several walkable cafés and takeaways, and you’ll find plenty of dining options en route to the venue. Breakfast options are available nearby for those needing a post-concert refuel.

Nightlife Options

This isn’t a party hotel, but that’s part of the charm. You’re close enough to head into central London or Wembley for late-night bars and live music, then return to Cricklewood for a quieter night’s sleep. The Beaten Docket offers a relaxed pub atmosphere with beers on tap and a local crowd.

What People Say

Guests love the value for money and the easy access to transport. Reviews often mention the friendly staff and the clean rooms, making it a dependable choice for short stays. Many travelers note the hotel’s quiet location despite being in London, which is a huge plus after a loud gig.

Areas for Improvement

The hotel has a no-frills vibe, so don’t expect luxury or modern design. Some rooms can feel a bit dated, and there’s no lift—something to keep in mind if you’ve been on your feet all night. Still, for the price and location, most guests find it a great deal.

The Bottom Line

If you’re heading to a concert and want a budget-friendly, quiet place to crash with quick access to London venues, Cricklewood Lodge Hotel is a solid bet.

Reasonable Hotel

Liked: Cricklewood Lodge Hotel is about a 15 minute walk from Kilburn Tube Station. The area is better than I was expecting. I would stay again.
Disliked: My Single Room was clean but very small, this is reflected in the price.

Good

Liked: Good location near restaurants and public transport. Comfortable, large size bed. Good value for price.
Disliked: Gave kettle, tea bags, mugs, but no access to water. Low shower pressure. Have to get soap from the dispenser in the shower to wash your hands. You have to carry suitcase up stairs.

Great stay, will be coming...

Liked: 15 minute commute from central London, overground and underground stations nearby, lots of communal grounds around the property - supermarkets, cafes, local stores etc, affordable parking, great members of staff (especially the younger receptionist behind the desk), felt safe, overall a great experience.
Disliked: Nit picking but would be convenient to have a lock from inside of the room we were staying in to help us feel slightly more secure when in house but otherwise great.
