Liked: Open, friendly attitude of the staff in reception and the restaurant area. Beautiful surroundings and views
Disliked: Slightly confusing on arrival as it is called Cricklade House Hotel on the paperwork but signposted as Cricklade & Spa on the entry to the property.

Great hotel but don’t stay...

Liked: I liked the surrounding countryside and beautiful main building and dining room. Lovely surroundings and good food. Also loved the pool, steam room and sauna.
Disliked: All the rooms face the countryside surroundings except for the courtyard rooms 13 and 14 which face the car park with electric vehicle pumps outside these two rooms. There was no privacy as people walked by our room window most of the evening which was very annoying. I would not have stayed there if I’d seen where our room was situated.

Perfect place to relax with...

Liked: Firstly - the drive up to the hotel makes it feel so classy! From arriving to leaving, the staff were friendly and attentive and dealt with all my queries and requests quickly. I stayed in room 18 in the courtyard area with my dog. It was a good size and well decorated with a really large bed and with a view overlooking the grounds. As requested, a fan had been left due the hot weather we are/were having which was really needed! Both myself and my rather large dog were made to feel welcome at all times, and he thoroughly enjoyed all the fussing he got from staff and other guests. The grounds are well maintained and ideal to stroll around to relax and take in the surrounding countryside views.
Disliked: To be honest, I can’t think of anything negative.
