I expected more

Liked: The hotel has reasonable facilities and the Thai meal was good. The bed is comfortable.
Disliked: It is significantly overpriced for what it is. The whole hotel is tired and needs a refresh. The 'Decadent' room was a bit disappointing and open showers that spray water all over the bathroom and toilet are just annoying. The room was too dark to see properly in mirrors. Everything was an extra, including corkage on your own drinks - this is so outdated.Drink costs were far too pricey, £15 for an Aperol Spritz and min £40 for basic red wine. No breakfast is included either. It is all too expensive for what it is.

Liked: Loved the uniqueness of the whole place, the rooms, the reception etc. The Thai restaurant was absolutely amazing the food was fantastic. Drinks at the bar were really good too. The breakfast was really nice my wife had a full English and I had a bacon bap. It was beautiful. Stunning location and the farm shop was fantastic.
Disliked: The rooms could do with a little TLC there was some paint missing from things in the snug room I was in (room2) and a lot of dust, some water damage it looked like in the bathroom & the carpet in the room felt damp but it could have just been cold.
