Disappointing

On the plus our room...

Liked: We’ve stayed here previously and enjoyed the outside pool in the mornings for a dip, this is what brought us back
Disliked: Unfortunately our third time visiting the pool wasn’t warm, too cold to swim and the outside area was run down to our previous visits

Passable

Liked: Its a hype. The rooms were OK but most of the things did not work
Disliked: Lights not working , bath leaking , no fridge in room , pool side under renovation hence could not even sit.

It was the night before...

Liked: As with all crazy bear rooms it was quirky. Been before although in a much bigger room.
Disliked: When we arrived at nearly 6pm our room was not ready and we were sent back over the road to wait for another room to be sorted for us. Staff were wonderful and we did get a free drink and glass of champagne but a shame nonetheless. The wet room was a bit too small and the inside of the curtain across it was a bit grubby. Not somewhere you want to share with residue of any sort from other people.

I understand the crazy bear...

Liked: Nice setting in Beaconsfield
Disliked: The room was very small , all the time in the room there was a nasty lingering smell . Also there were tiny white flies in the room . Poor moisture extraction in the bathroom . I understand the lighting was trying to create a cosy ambiance but it was so dim you couldn’t really see yourself properly in the mirror . The room door , although it locked it still had a gap and did not feel secure . Instead of instructions about the hotel being on the TV there needed to be a booklet in the room , telling you what was complementary in the room .
