Good value and convenient location...

Liked: Helpful friendly staff.
Disliked: The property was fine, a bit busy at times with large coach parties.

Don't go here

Liked: The staff was friendly and helpful.
Disliked: This is probably the worst hotel I have stayed in, some rooms are apparantly ok, but our room was terrible and was similar to the rest of the building. The floor makes so much noice that any step wakes up everyone in the room, the window frames were rotting away, the shower had an electric heater in the shower and the top was open (safety hazard?), the toilet roll bar was broken and the floor still had the previous toilet cutout visible.Additionally, the scottisch breakfast was quite bad. The scrambled eggs were floating in water and tasteless, the rest also wasnt very tasteful, except for the Haggis.

It’s a relic that’s not...

Liked: It was a great location to stop over for the night on our three day road trip around Scotland.
Disliked: Um… it’s a relic. I could mention the torn curtains, the sign in the bathroom that was supposed to tell me how to use the shower that was likely posted two shower fixtures ago (instructions told me to turn knobs that weren’t there), toilet seat slides around a bit, and general maintenance seems to be at a stand still because apparently they are renovating soon.
