Dissatisfaction

Liked: The Hotel is well placed in the heart of Speyside
Disliked: The beds are uncomfortable. There were service charges when we used the Quaich bar which we weren't told about in advance. The pictures in the dining room were crooked, showing lack of management care. The furnishings are 'tired'.It's expensive. It is poorly ventilated so on arrival the prevailing smell was of stale food.We have received innumerable emails through bookings.com, often about events that had already happened, like Valentine's Day.Etc.

A piece of countryside perfection

Liked: A wonderful hotel that does the basics to a very high standard. The food was lovely in the restaurant. The whisky bar is a real gem. Perfect location in speyside. Lovely library area aswell. Shower ran powerful and hot, bed comfortable. Staff very knowledgable and friendly.
Disliked: Our room although very comfortable was quite basic, when I was stay again I’d pay extra to get the next rung up. didn’t detract from the stay at all though.

Nice place in good location.

Liked: Good location with nice pub downstairs to chill. Nice breakfast.
Disliked: A bit pricey compared to other places in the area, but probably a bit more upscale.
