Liked: The room was tastefully decorated with patio doors onto the lovely garden allowing you to sit out on the patio in the afternoon sun. However the view from the verandah by the bar and restaurant beat that in the evening sun....Stunning location with walks to the lake in the spacious grounds. Perfect.

Lovely property.

Liked: The property is beautiful and peaceful with lovely grounds and cozy sitting rooms. Our room had a magnificent lake view but, as a standard double, it was very small which made it difficult to even find a spot to open our suitcases. Larger rooms existed but, apparently, not with the nice views - so that seemed to be the trade-off.
Disliked: The staff was friendly and kind but not particularly trained on advice for guests regarding local directions/ferry, etc. Dinner at the hotel restaurant is presented as a top notch dining experience - much ado about nothing. Not at all worth the prix fix price tag.

Liked: What went well? Absolutely everything! Just a wonderful place to stay. Can't speak too highly of the hotel rooms, the staff and the cleanliness of the place. A real showpiece. And to send you on your way a beautifully cooked breakfast. What more could any one ask for?
Disliked: Better identification of room numbers on the key fob would be nice. Something which I am assured by staff that it is going to be acted upon very soon.
