Such a wonderful setting to...
Liked: Lou & Shaun were fabulous hosts that were very welcoming and provided a wonderful breakfast too... They were also very knowledgable about the area and also the history surrounding Cragend Grange and Cragside National Trust property it borders. The room and ensuite were very spacious and comfortable and a bonus was being able to see the Hydraulic machinery preserved that had powered both Cragside and Cragend in the 1800's.

A real surprise - Lou...
Liked: Lou and Shaun were incredible hosts and the place was incredibly surprising - a wonderful Northumberland farm experience and the biggest B&B room we have stayed in. There is so much history to the place and a visit to Cragside is a must do to complement the Cragend farm experience. Can not rate this place or the hosts highly enough.

Believe the Ratings! A great...
Liked: Our hosts were wonderful.Sharing their local knowledge freely, adding to the enjoyment of our daily excursions. The accomodation was spacious ,clean and very comfortable. The location was perfect for visits to many National Trust0 properties and Heritage Centres. Holy Island, Lindisfarne is only 50 mins away. An added bonus is that the farm has a rich Agricultural and Social History. A must vist.

A very comfortable and happily...
Liked: Beautiful location, and close enough to areas of interest such as Bamburgh and Alnwick. Recommended nearby pubs to eat would be Cook and Barker and the Northumberland Arms - both served excellent food (fabulous fish at Northumberland Arms and superb steak at Cook and Barker) - both more of a gastro style pub restaurant.
Disliked: The only slight criticism is the size of the TV in relation to the size of the room. It was really hard to read the channels from seated in bed so had to keep getting in and out to see. It’s a lovely large comfortable room and whilst the size of the television is a minor issue it would be our only criticism.

Liked: Lovely couple who made this spontaneous break extra special. This place is an absolute gem with great history, great for families or couples. A stay that won't be forgotten and will be recommended to family and friends. We already want to come back and explore some more. Thank you both very much.
