CMWV Resort offers self-contained accommodations nestled in a rainforest setting with native wildlife throughout the property. Cradle Mountain Village is located in a secluded setting on the edge of the World Heritage-listed Cradle Mountain/Lake St Clair National Park. It is just a 5-minute walk to the Visitor Center and 10 minutes' drive to the start of the Overland Track. All chalets include a well-equipped kitchenette dining area lounge area and bathroom. Each is fully insulated with double glazed windows and electric heating. Car parking at the door is provided. Hellyers Lounge and Bar welcomes you to indulge in a warm fireplace and enjoy your drinks after a long day of hiking or feast your eyes with the majestic view of Cradle Mountain and your favorite drink. Liked: Fantastic location. Complimentary fresh milk, tea and coffee. They have breakfast packs, lunch packs and hot choc packs available for purchase. The restaurant and reception area is warm and cosy. Board games and DVDs available to use. Currawongs and pademelons were sighted from chalet during our stay.
Disliked: Bed was a little hard.
