Cozy Inn

The Cozy Inn is exactly what the name says. Me and my husband stayed here for a one-year wedding anniversary. We were going to go to the Orange County Fair to see a concert and wanted some place close. The staff here are very friendly and attentive. Our room was clean and updated. They had a nice pool even though we did not utilize it, the weather was so nice. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

A great bargain if you...

Liked: It's a good location in a quiet neighborhood (however, the noise from Newport Blvd./55 can get loud). Short distance to some great shopping and restaurants on Harbor Blvd. I like that the "bedspread" is a sheet that can be washed, even though that is not fancy -- I'd rather have that than a cover than is never washed. The price was very good. Had a fridge. AC worked well. I didn't see any bugs. The bathroom was clean, the rest of the room was clean but needed attention in some areas. Like the name says, it is Cozy and has an overall good vibe.
Disliked: Dude at check in was super grumpy (all other staff interactions were great). There is one nightstand between the beds -- it had a janky lamp with a lampshade that looked like it was pulled from the trash (not kidding at all!). There are no electrical or USB outlets by the nightstand, so phone charging must be done across the room. No TV remote, but I didn't watch TV anyway. The paint on the walls is chipped, the arrangement of the beds makes no sense, squeezing the table and chairs between the wall and first bed when both beds could easily be moved a couple feet further into the room. Rusty shower fixture, and the tiniest bar soap you've ever seen. Stingy on towels. The floor under the head of the beds needs some serious attention, there was trash.

Liked: I liked that there was a microwave and a mini fridge.
Disliked: The shower facet leaked all over the place. Could not get the faucet to stop dripping all night. There was no top latch on the door. There were flies in the room. The room could use a lot of work; there were a lot of holes in the walls and things.

Liked: Bad, dirty, disgusting, bad front desk
Disliked: This property is so bad, there’s mole in the power outlet, plugged my phone and laptop, fried my computer and need cost so much more to get it fix!
