Superb

Very nice stay, beautiful building...

Liked: Food all very nice, but felt the menu choices were lacking outside of the main restaurant.
Disliked: The refurbished rooms were odd - the styling with bare wood looked unfinished and not luxurious.

Won’t be returning unfortunately

Disliked: - inside pool not heated enough- no hot tub, calling facilities a spa is misleading - terrible breakfast service

Beautiful hotel but poor staff

Liked: Amazing property, stunning location, big rooms, nice design. A modern Manor right in the heart of the Cotswolds
Disliked: The service experience was really poor and made the stay not worth the money AT ALL!!They staff was very slow as we always had to wait at least 45 minutes before getting any breakfast/drink/dinner. Unprepared/ unexperienced: I’ve been told the gym open at 7am I arrived at the location but it was closed since it opened at 8 apparently. Not attentive/reactive for example orders of our drinks were wrong (3 out of 4 drinks), we’ve been told we had to wait to place our order for breakfast because the kitchen had too many orders; lack of caring in simple client management. Before coming to the hotel I had sent 5 emails and made 3 calls to ask on few information and I’ve got back my reply 2 days before my stay and the information wasn’t even fully satisfying. One issue was connected with my passport so needed to be managed in a tamely manner but luckily I figured out an alternative way as the hotel didn’t support me.Morning buffet was really poor fruit was always missing and took time for refill. Menu at the restaurant was with limited choice and very structured which forced us to look for some other places.Being a such an amazing place and part of Experiemental Group, I was expecting a better consumer experience and I really suggest this gets fixed in the future.

Liked: Beautiful building and grounds, fantastic interiors, great spa and delicious restaurant. The service was also faultless.

Very nice but little luxuries...

Liked: Games room and pool / spa were wonderful.
Disliked: The little luxuries were missing. No nibbles when having pre dinner drinks, no toiletries like cotton buds/shower caps. Our room was next to a noisy ventilation system so I wouldn’t stay again. Dinner was a high ticket price and wasn’t up to the high standard - steak overcooked for example.

Liked: Had such a lovely stay. Beautiful room with view of the lake with very comfty bed! The gardens are incredible and stunning. Food was delicious and staff very helpful. Definitely we will go back.

A beautiful place full of...

Liked: The staff were all very friendly and professional. The hotel was beautiful and the grounds were very pretty. The breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice. The spa was amazing. We both enjoyed a relaxing swim. The staff in the spa were very welcoming. I would have liked to have booked a treatment but we were only there for 1 night. The room was very comfortable and clean. It was nice that they allow dogs in the hotel and rooms.
Disliked: I did not like the prices of the drinks they were very expensive and with the service charge of 12.5% to go on top that was also a little bit of a shock.
