Ok but spoilt by the...

Liked: The hotel itself was ok: room’s reasonable; decor a little tatty in parts
Disliked: The fact that in the description and booking process there was no mention that 90% of the hotel was booked to migrants My daughter felt very intimidated every time we went in and out as the lobby was very crowded at times and with very visible security personnel as well The breakfast and dining facilities were off and this was a big problem for our days there

NO SUM UP - DUE...

Liked: The original price offered for 1 night.
Disliked: On arriving at the hotel, it all seemed a bit suspicious that there was no other cars in the car park... On booking in we paid, and went up to our room on the 5th floor. We felt something was wrong, and decided to leave. We went and asked to book out and to have our money back. There was n query over this at all, but the receptionist said that the hotel is now used as a homing port for the refugees!. There was no mention of this on booking.com,, the hotel is still advertised on the b.com site as a plush 5* hotel with all mod cons, and facilities etc, as the other top named hotels in the country. THERFORE THIS HOTEL WANTS TO BE REMOVED FROM THE BOOKING.COM WEBSITE - I WOULD THINK THE TRADING ACT SHOULD BE INVOLVED WITH THIS!

Not the best

Liked: Convenient with ample parking, close yo NEC
Disliked: Sadly it seems the residents are mostly foreign refugees, or people.fallen on bad times. We shouldn't judge but I don't expect police to be in reception calming hostile activities

Avoid like the plague!

Liked: Staff were polite.
Disliked: The whole place looks like it's on the verge of falling down. The mattress was rock hard, the pillows were poor quality, the windows don't shut properly so it's noisy all night. I didn't dare to try the breakfast - I couldn't wait to leave.

Disgusting and very disappointing

Liked: I liked nothing about this hotel. When I booked I asked for a disabled room and wasn't informed until the next day after the time had elapsed to cancel that they had no disabled rooms. The room was disgusting and covered in fleas
Disliked: I spent 2 nights there and left this morning and had to go and get my case, clothes, all personal belongings cleaned and spent tge rest if my day covering myself and my stuff with flea powder. I am now covered in flea bites. I wish to make a complaint about this and will never ever stay in the hotel again
