Beautiful resort, Quiet, comfortable rooms

Exceptional

Liked: My wife and I had one night to get away on our anniversary. It was a beautiful drive up the north shore. When we arrived, we learned the pool and hot tub were down due to maintenance. This was upsetting as the plan for our getaway was to hot tub, swim, and sauna the evening away after our hike. When we voiced our annoyance, the staff jumped in right away to make it right. They upgraded our room to a jacuzzi suite. They also made reservations for us for dinner. They were very helpful in making sure our anniversary was one to remember. Thank you cove point!!

Great place will definitely be...

Liked: Breakfast was terrific, even had cheese and salami for a little bite while hiking. Nice amenities, the trails, fire pit and little hang out building.

Lovely place right on Lake...

Liked: Right on Lake Superior, clean and homey. Loved fireplace area, restaurant and whirlpool.

A good comfortable location on...

Liked: Breakfast was okay for a couple of days but not enough variety for longer stays. Location is very good as was the view from the room.
Disliked: The bar could have opened before around 5pm.

Liked: Being so close to the lake. Hearing the lapping of the water from our room.

We’ll be back!

Liked: This was the perfect place for our purposes. We consider ourselves to be Northshore experts and had no desire to hike or see waterfalls. We’ve seen most of them over the years and have hiked many of the trails. We just wanted a place where we could crash after a stressful school year. We loved our room-50 feet from the lake complete with balcony and a fireplace. We barely left our room - just to get malts at the Big Dipper in Beaver Bay- the best!we loved the Scandinavian breakfast bar and the kind lady who satisfied my need for GF bread. This may be our new favorite place to stay!
Disliked: Unfortunately, neither of us slept really well on the king mattress in our room- disappointing.

Superb

Liked: It was a beautiful location, close to alot of wonderful parks to visit.
