Liked: Centrally located in Waikiki, close to shops and restaurants with a bus stop right outside. We were lucky to get an upgrade to a lovely room with a king size bed a very comfortable bed and a very nice and clean room with a microwave.Staff very friendly and so helpful all of them doing an amazing job.
Disliked: Its a very small Marriot compared to all Marriots I stayed at they have a tiny bar with next to nothing seating area with the amount of guests they have due to location. I found it very crowded. The swimming pool area looks a little bit tired, tiny to cater for so many guests and could do with a bit of a face lift. As lovely as the room was the bathroom was small even more so the shower recess it is the tiniest I have ever seen I felt claustrophobic every time I had a shower. The worst was the noise as our room was facing the main street, noise from the cars and pedestrians throughout the night so much noise. I know this cannot be helped but perhaps putting in a sound proof would help I know earplugs were supplied but I found them uncomfortable.

Will not stay at this...
Liked: Location was not bad. Staff was very friendly and nice.
Disliked: No beach views. Stayed for one week and house keeping offered fresh towels, no vacuum. A lot, a lot of noise from nearby traffic. Could not open balcony door because too noisy. Room was very small just as the bathroom. A very older hotel. No real restaurants on property. No fan in bathroom and poor lighting in the room without curtain open to bring in natural sunlight.

Liked: The only upside to this hotel was its primal location in central Waikiki. Walking distance to the beach, shops and nearby restaurants.
Disliked: The cleanliness of this property was very appalling. The room was mouldy and damp and the bathroom had minimal ventilation and was very wet and old. The carpets had a foul smell and looked like they were never cleaned. We had a TV in our room but none of the channels were working and when we told the reception staff they said they will raise it with maintenance but the issue was never resolved. Staff were not very helpful, we were overseas travellers and asked the concierge staff to assist us to book tours and activities but he just ignored our request and told us to call them ourselves (when we did not even have an local number to do so). Not worth the price!

Liked: Great location. Bus stop at door. Catch the Pink Line to Ala Moana and back. Very comfortable bed. Surprisingly quiet given location. Great place for a short stay ... would use again if island hoping to Maui
Disliked: Smallish room and due to exterior painting we were unable to open our balcony door to allow fresh air to flow. Air con unit ok but room was a little stale with no fresh air
