Very poor
Liked: When I came in, my reservation for two rooms was not handled correctly by booking.com and there was only one room paid on my card. Person at desk said it was booking.com fault and they couldn't do anything. I bought another room on my credit card, but was also charged by booking.com for both rooms. I eventually got some, not all, of my money back from booking.com, but an additional 100 dollars was billed to me by marriott. I did bring a dog, so 75 of that may have been a pet charge, but I still think that I am out 25 bucks and was not treated well by the hotel staff. They should have comped our second room and dealt with booking.com themselves instead of making me go through the hassle of getting my money back from them. Won't be staying at this particular marriott again nor will I book through booking.com.

The location was nice for...
Liked: Centrally located in Wichita. A beautifully restored historical building.
Disliked: The location was good for being centrally located but our ground floor room on a Friday night wasn’t great due to a very loud club next door. My kids were woken several times. The lighting was abysmal. Way too dark and gloomy, even with the shades open.

Liked: Location, staff, clean property. All great things about the downtown location
Disliked: I see all bon voy locations have went the route of cable tv +streaming options on their tvs, but, I’m not going to go through the hassle of temp logging in to my accounts to watch content for a few days. Was able to watch local football games in room, but this route just seems like an el cheapo move by a high end hotel. I’ve stayed at much much much cheaper places that tend to have better standard channels. Experience left me kind of meh..The bathroom sink drain was non functional, and with the way it’s manufactured the drain has little tolerance for prying up to reset it, so, I was left without usage of the sink while on my stay. The thermostat on the wall was less in the means of functional and more of an outdated decor piece.The mini split that actually controlled the temp of the room was partially functional. It did heat and cool, but, it didn’t regulate itself like it should. Meaning if I turned it on at all, it would continue to heat the room until it was 75-80 degrees or more even. Walking in to an over heated room is never fun, but waking up in the middle of the night sweating my a** off, turning the unit off, then waking up in the morning freezing cold, isn’t ideal.Did I call the front desk about these issues? No. Could I have done so, and gotten a different room? Yes, didn’t feel like being a bother.

Liked: Location was great.
Disliked: Room reservation was incorrect and staff was lack luster and barely attentive. Took 10 minutes to get checked in once he figured out who we were. Stated he was the only staff member on shift, several times. Once fixed, we're told we could not pay in cash until the next day. The room we got was smaller than advertised and only equipped for 2 people. Reservation was clearly for 4. 2 towels, 2 coffee pods... breakfast was to be included but was $20 per person instead. Not even complimentary coffee for guests. When we went to checkout, prior to check out times, the desk and front areas were empty. We waited for nearly 20 minutes only to find a housekeeper who went and found desk staff. Once she wandered to the desk, we found out my card was charged after all. Today, 2 days later, they are trying to charge me again. Rather unimpressed...

Liked: I just slept and showered . The bar was nice.
Disliked: When i went to check in they had no idea of my reservation with you. I have asked several times, tried to call, email, etc. to get my refund from you as I had to book the day of my stay directly when I went to check in.
