Liked: The hotel staff was very friendly. I loved that when I came down to dinner on Friday evening there was a group of folk singers jamming out one song after another. It was very entertaining. The room was large, clean and the bed was comfortable.

convenient to explore Walla Walla,...
Liked: There was no continental breakfast, there was no coffee in the lobby. We've come to expect these in better hotels

Liked: The hotel overall is very nice. The room was clean and well kept.
Disliked: We arrived at the bar at about 7:45 on the night of June 17, 2025. There were two men at the bar, two women behind the bar. We were ignored initially by the bartenders who eventually noticed that we were there after I said something because they were being well entertained by the two men at the bar. They told us that they were closing the bar at 8:00 p.m. Really? Other folks were not served and some asked if they could bring their own wine into the bar. I had witnesses at that point. So, I went up to the front desk after we finished the drinks that we had and asked the employee for a discount for the night as this was no longer the full service hotel that I booked. She denied me the discount. She said "We have to send our employees home for the night". I indicated that this wasn't disclosed when I made the reservation. She got indignant with smiling condescendingly at me. She told me she didn't like the way that I was talking to her. She told me I was welcome to leave the property. I told her that I would not be doing that until the morning. I contacted Booking.com who called the property and arranged for a one night stay. The hotel employee's name was Jessica who claimed to be the assistant manager. She set a horrible example for the employee that was working with her that night. The next morning I spoke with the hotel manager who indicated that she had heard the story and that everything was on camera. I told her to feel free to view the camera footage to watch her employee smiling condescendingly at me (posing for the camera) and that she should be fired for acting that way to a hotel guest. The hotel manager said that there had been an illness. I indicated that Jessica could have just told me that. In any event, Jessica should be trained and authorized to offer a discount for hotel services that are not being offered as advertised.

Passable
Liked: They advertised a free breakfast and there was none. The pool was tiny and over chlorinated. Nothing special about this place
