Staff=good. Ambiance=terrible

Liked: The staff were very helpful.
Disliked: The pool and portions of the property were under construction. There was no place on property to get away from the drills, jackhammering, pounding, etc. until nighttime. Many people left for a different property according to the staff. It would have been good to know about the construction when we booked. As it is, we ended up paying full price for an uncomfortable week.

Liked: The central location was great. Walking distance to all the great restaurants in Waikiki.
Disliked: The air conditioner starting making a really banging noise in the middle of the night.

Disliked: Bed bug in room, dated room with limited outlets and no plug ins for the electronics.

Liked: The new restaurant Aloha Amigo, the pool, how close it is to the beach.
Disliked: Elevator was not clean, the room was old, no easy access to the at the pool.
