Would def stay here again
Liked: We absolutely loved the outdoor pool!
Disliked: My one and only complaint is only having one parking spot available, which I get having one parking spot per room makes sense. But our room slept 6 people so there’s no way we were only bringing one car with us.

Could be better
Liked: Rooms, Poor Service and Billing IssuesWhile the rooms at Courtyard Virginia Beach North were great, the experience overall left a lot to be desired. Before even arriving, I was told I had to pay for one night over the phone—even though all of my rooms were already prepaid through Booking.com. Then, when I checked in, I was charged again for the rest of the nights. It wasn’t until I spoke up that anyone bothered to look into the mistake. That’s not acceptable.Housekeeping requests went unfulfilled throughout the stay. My mother-in-law had to switch rooms twice due to issues—though the staff did good work correcting it and adjusted the rate, both of the replacement rooms were far from the elevator, which made things difficult for her.Despite having five people in a suite, we were only given four extra pillows. A simple request like that shouldn’t be complicated.I also tried several times to use a gift card for incidentals, but because I extended my stay by one day (through Booking.com), they created a new reservation. That meant I was checked out and checked back in—and everything ended up being charged to my card, not the gift card I wanted to use.To top it off, one night we ate at the Bistro, and the chicken wings were hot on the outside but still cold on the inside—like they had been tossed back in the grease to reheat.I might stay here again because the rooms themselves were very nice, but these ongoing service and billing issues need serious attention. If improvements are made, I’m open to changing my review. Until then, one star.

We still had a nice...
Liked: The pool of course was great!
Disliked: The pool was nice, However, there was never a chair to sit in. People came when it opened and put thier towels down and left and went to beach only coming back at least a few hours later. The chairs sat empty for that long. There was no microwave in the room. There was no utensils or coffee cups. I really expected more from a Marriott. We went to the store to get spoons to stir coffee and finally found that we had to go out of our room in the mornings to use a microwave. This we did not enjoy.
