Courtyard by Marriott Virginia Beach Norfolk

I would be very much inclined to stay again at the Courtyard Marriott Virginia Beach - lovely, comfortable room; very quiet facility; enthusiastic and welcoming staff!

Liked: Very quiet! The most quiet hotel in which I have ever stayed. Well decorated and furnished room, with lovely fixtures and finishes. Bed very comfortable. The persons serving in the Bistro were so pleasant, warm, and friendly - plus the food was delicious and very reasonably priced.
Disliked: The shower head in my bath could not be adjusted down or the type of stream changed - it was very vigorous and because I am short, it nearly hit me in the face!

Liked: The rooms were clean and the front desk reception was fantastic. When we checked in the gentleman gave us directions to our venue and was so positive.

I won’t be staying there...

Disappointing

Liked: The room was nice and bed comfortable.
Disliked: The hotel is under renovation and when we pulled up it looked ran down. We wasn’t sure if we should go in because it didn’t even look open untilI seen someone walk out. The entrance looked horrible. We had to get new keys twice not sure why they stopped working. With its current state it shouldn’t have been open or rooms should have been discounted.

Liked: The location was good.
Disliked: The other thing very loud people in the pool. Someone knocked on our door sat nite at 2:30am very loud. Have more control on behavior. There were ants as well.

Disliked: There was nowhere for you to put your toiletries in the shower. The shower leaked.

Liked: no breakfast. bird guano everywhere outside. The staff was great though.
Disliked: the place was under renovation. Should have just been closed until completed.

Disliked: Re. Construction going on. Had bad smell and ice machine were not working. Elevator very slow too.
