I would be very much inclined to stay again at the Courtyard Marriott Virginia Beach - lovely, comfortable room; very quiet facility; enthusiastic and welcoming staff!

Liked: Very quiet! The most quiet hotel in which I have ever stayed. Well decorated and furnished room, with lovely fixtures and finishes. Bed very comfortable. The persons serving in the Bistro were so pleasant, warm, and friendly - plus the food was delicious and very reasonably priced.
Disliked: The shower head in my bath could not be adjusted down or the type of stream changed - it was very vigorous and because I am short, it nearly hit me in the face!

Liked: The rooms were clean and the front desk reception was fantastic. When we checked in the gentleman gave us directions to our venue and was so positive.

Disliked: I had to switch rooms because of ants. The host acted as if I was bothering him to switch my name from the old room to the new room so that I could use my streaming. There was no vent in the bathroom. No microwave in the room. And, I had to find a ice machine on the 2nd floor because there wasn't one on the first. The hallways reeked of marijuana.

Liked: Hotel was clean and in a very convenient location.
Disliked: No room attention after first night so no coffee 2nd morning. Bath tub bottom was stained and we used a towel for feet protection. Only place to eat (the Bistro) was closed 2nd night so had to skip dinner.

Liked: It is a nice central location, in the cut so seems like a more privacy. Things were pretty clean and nicely put together.
Disliked: There was no microwave in the room but I’m glad there was one in the lobby.

Great staff but needs improvements

Liked: Close to my work location and airport but yet a good value compared to many of the other hotels.
Disliked: No workable phone number on their Booking.com listing or their website (I left my laptop there accidentally and could not find a usable phone number for the hotel).No breakfast included option.One treadmill was broken.In store section, unable to keep items stocked.
