Nancy, St Thomas, visiting Mattamy Athletic Centre Thu, 19 April 2018

We were happy we chose to stay at The Marriott because of my friend's fall and the staff were so helpful to her. Everyone we came in contact with were kind, friendly and caring. Thank you to all.

Liked: My friend had a fall the first night. I called 0 and got the Night Manager who immediately brought up security and we were able to get her back into bed. The staff were very kind and helpful to her after the fall, even loaning us a wheelchair so we could get her to the Mattamy Centre to see some of the curling. The staff may like to know we took her to Emergency in St. Thomas and her ankle was fractured. She has on a walking cast for 6 weeks. We both thank the very helpful and very kind staff, managers, security, housekeeping bar and restaurant staff.
Disliked: The elevators were a little slow, but being seniors we're never in a hurry anyway, so it wasn't a problem for us. That is the only thing I can think of.

Mommy, Hamilton, visiting Tarragon Theatre Mon, 16 November 2015

The staff was great. The hotel needs refurbishing as soon as possible. It is old. OLD! And that is unacceptable for it's level. There are better furbished hotels on the same street.

Liked: Very spacious.
Disliked: Needs refurbishing badly.

Verified Hotel Guest Fri, 14 September 2018

Liked: Clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Comfortable room but could hear the elevator.
Disliked: Given very small room initially with humming fridge and heater. Went downstairs to ask for a larger room without humming. The next room was much better but could hear elevator.

Fair - 2.5 out of 5

Verified Hotel Guest Fri, 14 September 2018

Liked: Big room.
Disliked: The pool was not very nice. It needs to be repainted because it looks dirty even though it wasn't. The whirpool did not work so that was disappointing. The pool and whirpool were the main reason I chose this hotel!

Kendall Fri, 14 September 2018

Liked: The staff was very accommodating and pleasant.
Disliked: The price of parking I felt was out of range. I can't verify it, but speaking with other guest at the hotel restaurant area we discovered we had paid almost double for our rooms for those 3 days.

Poor - 1.5 out of 5

Gregory Fri, 14 September 2018

Liked: Desk staff very pleasant
Disliked: dirty, musty odor in room, it's a pain to get in and out of, the "balcony" was inhabitable, the elevators were slow and the ride was at times terrifying. Ice on every other floor. the TV remote was slow (you had to stand on it to get it to work) Not good.
