Nancy, St Thomas, visiting Mattamy Athletic Centre Thu, 19 April 2018

We were happy we chose to stay at The Marriott because of my friend's fall and the staff were so helpful to her. Everyone we came in contact with were kind, friendly and caring. Thank you to all.

Liked: My friend had a fall the first night. I called 0 and got the Night Manager who immediately brought up security and we were able to get her back into bed. The staff were very kind and helpful to her after the fall, even loaning us a wheelchair so we could get her to the Mattamy Centre to see some of the curling. The staff may like to know we took her to Emergency in St. Thomas and her ankle was fractured. She has on a walking cast for 6 weeks. We both thank the very helpful and very kind staff, managers, security, housekeeping bar and restaurant staff.
Disliked: The elevators were a little slow, but being seniors we're never in a hurry anyway, so it wasn't a problem for us. That is the only thing I can think of.

Mommy, Hamilton, visiting Tarragon Theatre Mon, 16 November 2015

The staff was great. The hotel needs refurbishing as soon as possible. It is old. OLD! And that is unacceptable for it's level. There are better furbished hotels on the same street.

Liked: Very spacious.
Disliked: Needs refurbishing badly.

Good

Liked: Good location, good breakfast. Rooms were upto date.
Disliked: Parking was overpriced. Despite asking No one in the hotel told us about the self parking. The housekeeping staff was rude. Property is located on northern most end of Yonge street so $60 a day is steep when you can park for $15/day literally next to the property.

Very good

Liked: Location is good
Disliked: The water and tea/coffee cups in the room are all disposables, instead of glass and mugs The pool is very small, only room for a handful of kids to splash around in There is no extractor fan in the bathroom so it gets very steamy after a shower

My stay at the Courtyard...

Liked: I liked the friendliness of the staff. very helpful, they were. I liked that the room had a coffee brewing machine so I could have a hot cup of coffee. The wifi service was good too.
Disliked: I didn't like that the amount I paid for per night did not include with breakfast.
