A lovely, clean hotel, excellent...
Liked: The staff were super excellent - helpful and anything we needed they worked out. So a huge thank you there.
Disliked: We enjoyed most aspects of the hotel, but there were a few things that let the experience down. Firstly, we were surprised to find that parking was an extra cost. While we eventually sorted it out and didn’t have to pay, it felt a bit cheeky considering the high price of the room — it really should be included. Our biggest disappointment was the bathroom design. The glass wall between the bathroom and the main room made it very uncomfortable. It completely removed any sense of privacy, and we found it awkward, especially when traveling with family. I had looked forward to a relaxing bath (my first in years), but the see-through nature of the bathroom made it feel stressful rather than soothing. Adding a proper blind or privacy option would make a huge difference. Also, a note about the air conditioning would be helpful. Several of us across three rooms had poor sleeps, waking up with headaches and overheating, simply because we didn’t realise the air had to be turned on manually. The rooms felt cool when we arrived, so we didn’t think to check. A simple sign would have helped avoid this.Overall, the hotel itself is lovely—beautifully presented and very clean. The staff were excellent, and the breakfast was a real highlight. We really did enjoy our stay, but a few design and comfort issues took away from what could have been an outstanding experience.
