I stayed at Fairfield Hotel...

Liked: Booked my Room almost 1 month ahead, Room was paid for in advance, advised Hotel my flight would not arrive until 10:24 that I would be checking in late, email back that that would be no problem. Called Hotel from airport due to even later arrival due to weather and was told that was still no problem , at arrival not so nice of person informed me that they were over booked and that I had no room, and there were no rooms at any of the other Marriot's in Springfield.
Disliked: Staff and the fact that Marriot Hotels stole money from me.

A little cheapeer feeling than...

Liked: The room was clean, with little sign of wear.
Disliked: The fixtures were outdated for a newer hotel. Few outlets, no usb ports, a handle flush toilet that was finicky to use, a noisy vent fan, and a simple curtain for the shower.

Poor

Liked: The front desk clerk, both in the afternoon as well as the next morning, were very helpful.
Disliked: When I walked in the room the 1st thing I noticed is that it wasn't a pleasant 1st impression. The room smelled stale, not good

Disliked: The bed wasn't very comfortable. The shower looks like it needs to be replaced, very outdated, and breaking down. Had a bus come in at 9:30 pm with kids, who made a lot of noise in the hallway and jumped around in the room above us.
