Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Downtown

In town for a performance at the House of Blues which was next door! My niece was performing and the ability to walk out the door and into the venue was priceless. Hotel was superb.

Liked: Location was great. Valet service necessary and available at 2am. All personnel helpful.

Had a very nice one night stay; would definitely return to this hotel; it's in a perfect location and didn't lack any commodity.

Liked: Clean; comfortable; quiet; location.
Disliked: No onsite parking; $40/day valet.

Liked: The property itself is beautiful. The historic beauty is wonderful.
Disliked: The neighborhood was not welcoming. Felt it was unsafe to walk to restaurants at night. Part of the reason we stayed in the area was to see the “Gas Light” area.

Liked: Breakfast was incredible. Location was great. Hotel renovated beautifully. Staff were also super helpful with any questions and requests.

Liked: Converted bank that resembles something out of the film ‘Brutalist.’ Where the US army stay .
Disliked: Lack of atmosphere, welcome , the severity, the location surrounded by drug homeless people. Open the bedroom door and your greeted by the toilet by a large window with a roller blind. Old-fashioned elevators with no scientific coming or going. Abrupt reception staff. Awful breakfast in empty feeling eating area
