Great clean room with an easy walk to the Belly up Bar. Nice Staff.

Liked: Early check in at 1:30; room was ready.
Disliked: None.

The Goods & Bads of...

Liked: Close to most beaches we have enjoyed in the past. Memorable past & present.Clean.
Disliked: My friend's bed was too soft; couldn't sleep. I remember prettier bed linens. TV didn't work; no one responded to my email. However, I didn't call because I usually got in late. Breakfast not served at a Courtyard, which seems like most others have. Swimming pool hours during the summer- later for adults only.

Superb

Liked: Within walking distance of some great restaurants and kitschy shopping district.
Disliked: We were there for a soccer tourney and I chose the hotel because they were supposed to have breakfast available, but they were out of everything the entire time we were there. Only one piece of equipment in the workout room was functionality. Everything else was taped off with yellow caution tape.

Overpriced, outdated

Liked: Location.
Disliked: We had to switch dates and the booking was $150 more than our original dates. Reception said it was because they were almost fully booked - that is SO wrong!! Very unhappy. We then stayed downtown SD and the room was MUCH nicer quality and again $150 less!

A mixed experience with some...

Liked: I did not eat at the location. I had my own food. Facility is in a very good location with convenient underground parking. My room was spacious and comfortable. Largest bathroom in a hotel room I've ever seen. I liked having a microwave and small refrigerator.
Disliked: The internet was hardly functional. Could hardly open anything. Would not stay there again simply for that reason. Also the wall between my king suite and the adjoining room was horribly thin. I heard them talking/arguing until very late.

Superb

Liked: Great location, walking distance to beach. Great patio facing the courtyard and pool.
Disliked: Someone pulled the fire alarm so we had to evacuate late at night- but not the hotel's fault!
